The contest is free to enter and is open to all members of the public.
The aim of our contest is to celebrate the beauty and amazing life histories of seabirds and to highlight the importance of their conservation.
We accept photographs taken on any type of camera, including mobile phones, and welcome submissions from everyone with an interest in seabirds.
We strongly encourage amateur photographers to participate and offer a separate category for those under 18 – the Young Photographer Award.
OBJECTIVES

Promote the observation and appreciation of Seabirds in the vast area of Macaronesia, including the Azores, Canary Islands, Madeira, Cape Verde and surrounding oceans.

Act as a challenge to the public to learn more about the biodiversity and natural history of Macaronesian Seabirds, their habitats and the threats they face.
